After you find them figure out where the end of the boat ramp is and start from there. You want to work your way up towards the beach. We tie our own crappie jigs and like to have a variety of weights and colors. We like to paint our jig heads, black, pink, and chartreuse. We will tie a variety of colors as well. Black, White, Pink, and Chartreuse marabou jigs will take nice crappie in lakes and creeks.

These fish are bottom feeders meaning they scour the bottom of the lake searching for any type of trash or junk that they could eat, almost like the garbage trucks of the lake.
