We seemed to inconvenience our server specifically when asking for cream for coffee at the end of our meal or when when we asked for wine with our main courses, well before our main course was delivered.
As our dessert was delivered the area in which we sat became a hang out location for our server and other staff where we could hear them discussing their weekend escapades and gossiping about other coworkers dalliances. Loved dining here again! Food was excellent but the service was poor. We sat at the table for 10 minutes without a server acknowledging our presence. They never took our drink order.
There were at least 10 wait staff congregating around the host stand and when our server finally showed up she apologized because she was on the phone. There was a steady stream of wait staff going by our table the entire time we were dining, attending to customers eating upstairs on the balcony.
The server apologized again for the inattentiveness and said the appetizer was on the house. Getting a slice of pie from the kitchen took 10 minutes. When the bill came, the appetizer was charged. Not the special evening we had expected. It was a perfect early autumn evening and everything from the food and service to the ambiance was marvelous.
The table across from us was clearly over served on drinks and screaming the entire time, which the staff did not address. It ruined the entire mood of the restaurant. Foood was spectacular but the key lime pie needs to be more key lime. Beautiful patio for an early Saturday dinner, drinks at the bar until a table opened w their first come first serve policy for outdoor dining. Apps and drinks again followed by bottle of wine and main course all well timed. Lovely, charming restaurant with an absolutely gorgeous outdoor patio - and food to match!
Highly recommended. Executed in all aspects of dining. Service was prompt and attentive. My only very minor complaint was that the courses were brought a little too quickly at the beginning. Every course was delightful. Visited Lindey's on our one-year wedding anniversary. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful but we ate on the patio, which was also beautiful. The service was enjoyable. Our food was delayed a bit due to a large party, but the staff checked in frequently while we waited.
The food was plated beautifully and so delicious. We ordered risotto and the tournedos beef. Both were very flavorful and cooked beautifully. We did not feel the prices were unreasonable for the portion sizes. There is a complimentary valet, that was speedy.
Will be going again, and recommend that you go there too! Good food, excellent service. Frank is a very professional waiter! Enjoyed oureselves. Lindey's is the go to, consistent standard of unpretentious excellence. Highly recommend this long standing gem. Best filet ever Service excellent!!

Flowers, preserves, and other organic wares came from Coveyou Farmers Market, a 5th generation family farming this land since We really got to know and enjoy these folks.
Guests are welcomed by a wood-burning fireplace. Hand-lettered chalkboard signs herald fresh-baked pies. There are two bars, one separated from the main room and another that faces the open kitchen, warmed by a wood-burning pizza oven. Bar bites also include options like iron skillet cheddar corn biscuits and Moroccan carrots and shishito peppers.
Burgers, ribeye, lamb chops and salmon will come straight from the wood-fired grill. Highly recommend. Lamb chops were the best ever! Lindey's thin, crisp-crusted pizzas are so good that we actually bookended a meal with them one evening. We started out with cocktails, wine and a pepperoni pizza , but ended up hanging out with friends for so long that we tossed in an order for margarita pizza hours later.
